Udo's Long_awaited_next Echelle Spectrograph
Characteristics: fiber-fed, image slicer, temperature controlled, dual fiber and interchangeble optics for adaptive spectral resolution in range 20000-60000, fully automatic processing in MIDAS
Echelle spectrographs are fascinating machines, that allow to obtain extremely high resolution spectra across the whole optical range in a single shot. UFES was my first attempt ULES is enhanced in many ways.
